Undergraduate General Information

Computer Science, Computer Engineering and IT are a dynamic and rapidly developing field as a result of today’s heavy reliance on computer controlled applications. The vast advancement in the use of computer applications has created demand for better services to store, process and exchange information. This has necessitated investing more and more in the IT sector both in terms of infrastructures and human resource. Therefore courses have always been in great demand to develop, manage, maintain and service these IT systems.

Bsc. in Computer Science Engineering & IT

This programme is a four (4) years undergraduate programme leading to the award of B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Information Technology. Each academic year is organised in two (2) semesters each of fifteen (15) instruction weeks followed by two (2) examinations weeks. The programme is made of a number of courses from the following areas: Computer Engineering foundation, Electronics and Communication systems, Communication skills, Mathematics, Development studies, Computer programming, Data and information management, Computer systems and Architecture, Profession and ethics, Software design and development, Computer networks, and Problem solving.  

Bsc. in Computer Science

This programme is a three (3) years undergraduate programme leading to the award of B.Sc. in Computer Science.
