Group Information
The eLearning Research Group (eLRG) is a multi-disciplinary research group aiming at promoting research in various areas of technology-enhanced learning at all levels of education. The group is focused not only on basic research but also on solving existing societal challenges through the application of educational technologies.
The activities of the group include:
- Organizing regular research seminars for researchers and postgraduate students;
- Developing fundable research proposals;
- Organizing visiting researchers on various topics of eLearning;
- Provide mentoring and other support for inexperienced researchers on various areas of eLearning research;
- Develop and sustain external research links and collaboration;
- Sensitize and encourage other staff to be research-active;
- Locate and pursue external funding;
Meeting date and time:
The group meets every Monday from 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm. However, meeting schedules will be communicated every week

Membership
The eLRG is hosted by the Center for Virtual Learning (CVL) in the College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT). However, members come from various academic units within the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). At the moment, members come from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE).
