Mr Zedekia L. Musabalala is a Laboratory Engineer (ICT) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Dar es Salaam. He is involved in the supervision of practical courses in electronics, networking and operating systems. He received B.Eng. Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) in 2011 and Masters in Engineering Management (MEM) from the University of Dar es Salaam in 2016, specializing in Engineering Information and Communication Technology Management (ICTM). He also attended specialized courses on Designing, Development and Implementation of e-learning Courses in India and Intellectual Property (IP) and Genetic Resource-in Support of Innovation in Sweden and Switzerland respectively. He has also attended local professional courses on Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), Linux System Administration and Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).
Mr Zedekia is a Registered Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) in Tanzania since 2012 in the Telecommunications Engineering field. He has performed a number of technical and consultancy engineering assignments related to electronics (low voltage), telecommunications and ICT with the Jiangsu Jiangdu Construction Group Co. Ltd (UDSM New Library Project), Pan African e-Network Project (Tele Education Project), Ministry of Infrastructure Development of Tanzania (TEMESA), University of Dar es Salaam Computing Centre and Tanzania Telecommunication Company Limited (TTCL). Also, he has been an assistant researcher in the Building Stronger Universities (BSU) Project in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, Aalborg University, Roskilde University and other local institutions/universities (UDSM, SUA, KCMU, SUZA and NIMR).
