About me
I am an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT), University of Dar es Salaam. I joined the department in 2009 as a Tutorial Assistant and I was promoted to an Assistant Lecturer in 2016.
Software development and network security are my main areas of research, teaching and consultancy. Specifically, my Network Security research covers the following areas: prevent, detect, and respond to IP/CallerID spoofing attackers. Also, I am interested in the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and interoperability of Information Systems, particularly in the context of developing countries. I am always happy to be contacted for a chat by students or researchers working or wanting to work around these areas.
I have a BSc and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam, 2007 and 2016 respectively. Currently, I am doing my PhD in Computer Science at the same University.
