Mr Richard Mkechera
I am currently Assistant Lecturer in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Information and communication Technologies (CoICT), University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). My research interest is in Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms. As part of consultancy, I have joined UDSM DHIS2 project team, August 2023.
I completed my bachelor degree in B.Sc. in Computer Science at St. Joseph University (SJUIT) in Tanzania, July 2015 and Masters of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) China, June 2023.
Award
A winner of Best Young Researcher award of International Water Scientific Conference in 2022, with a research title “Aquatic weeds detection using Deep Learning for Water Resource Management.
