Ms Betty Mbwilo

Betty is an Assistant Lectures in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and an MSc from the same institution. Currently, she is a beneficiary of Bilateral Scientific Cooperation - VLIR-UOS: Global Minds Program PhD scholar at the IMOB, Transportation Research Institute, Hasselt University, Belgium in collaboration with UDSM. Her PhD research is on the Adaption of nnovative ICT interventions for road safety in developing countries.

Betty joined UDSM in 2009 as a Tutorial Assistant and was promoted to an Assistant Lecturer in 2013.  She has been involved in teaching undergraduate courses mainly computer architecture.  She is a member of the Information Systems and Innovation and Software Engineering Research Groups at CoICT. Her research interests include ICT on Transportation systems, computer architecture, designing and adoption of ICT applications, innovation and information systems.
