I am currently an assistant lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at the College of Information and Communication Technologies (CoICT), University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). My research area of interest is in Computer Science and engineering fields specifically on embedded systems for IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Big data analytics. I teach classical and digital control systems courses. Since 2018, I have been working with different consultancy projects particularly those under the UDSM DHIS2 Project as an Information Systems Analyst.
I have an MSc in Computer and IT Systems Engineering (2019) and a BSc in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Dar es Salaam (2014). I joined UDSM in late 2015 as a Tutorial Assistant and promoted to an Assistant Lecturer in 2020. As a beneficiary of SIDA sponsorship, between 2017-2018, I received a special training course on Challenge Driven Education (CDE) from KTH University in Sweden. With my expertise on CDE, I collaborate with fellow colleagues to impart university students the knowledge and skills to apply this approach in addressing practical challenges in our context.
