Mr Henrick Mwasita

Henrick Mwasita is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of ICT, University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from UDSM, where his doctoral research specialized in personalized recommendations for e-learning systems, specifically developing advanced user representation models to enhance matching capabilities.

His research interests include:

Educational Technology (EduTech): Exploring emerging technologies to improve pedagogical outcomes.

Recommender Systems: Designing student-centric models and pairing algorithms.

Data Science in Education: Social Network Modeling and Analysis, Educational Data Mining (EDM), and Learning Analytics (LA).

Curriculum Development: Integrating modern web fundamentals and ERP systems into higher education.

Dr. Mwasita is actively involved in training and academic leadership, focusing on bridging the gap between theoretical computer science and practical instructional applications
